own fixed wireless network.
SpeedNet utilizes fixed wireless technology, which transmits data
via wireless radio frequencies between our tower location in a community,
and the wireless radio located at the customer's home or office.
Like all wireless ISPs, SpeedNet's technology requires no phone lines
and provides Internet access that is up to 20 times faster than conventional
dial-up services.
Their services include tiered
packages of upload and download speeds to meet the varying needs of
both residential and business customers.
SpeedNet provide service to more than 8,000 customers. SpeedNet provides wireless Internet access to 235 cities in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa,
Kansas, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Texas.
