Calculating Customer Demand for Wireless Broadband Services

Quality of Business Market Demand

The Quality of Business Market Demand section will detail in a visual and quantitative manner the propensity for Wireless broadband sales in your designated market area.

The comprehensive database that we employ covers over 18 million businesses by their technological sophistication, industry, location and size, etc. Whether you’re looking for mailing addresses, phone numbers or fax, etc., we deliver your best business prospects for Broadband services. We provide you a list of prospects and score their BPS using a proprietary algorithm that utilizes:

  • Domain market penetration index

  • Active website

  • # of IP addresses

  • SIC classification

  • Company size

  • Annual Sales

  • Plus hundreds of other demographics

Our prospect lists are provided with various degrees of precision that you select to best fit your needs. Just need the bare facts and want to economize? Fine, then our first level of detail cut is probably for you. Need more comprehensive detail to up your success and penetration rate? Then add on the detail areas that will best serve your needs. A sample prospect report follows:

Figure 4: Sample Business Prospect Report

Most generally all businesses with a Broadband Propensity Score above 100+ will be a strong candidate to purchase broadband, the higher the score the greater the bandwidth need. Use this scoring system to identify the most likely prospects in your market area to buy your Wireless Service.

By de-selecting low scorers, you can stop marketing to businesses with little or no propensity for Broadband Service. This saves on marketing costs and concentrates on your most lucrative targets.

Geographic Select records can be selected by CLLI, Distance to CLLI in feet and miles, NPA/NXX, Distance to Wireless Tower or by standard geographic pull like zip, county, etc.

Telecom/Broadband Select records can be selected by Broadband Propensity Score, Estimated number of business lines, Estimated monthly long distance expenditures, etc. We’ll consult with you to determine the best records and selects that best suit your particular market area.

Converting the BPS into color coded targeting levels we then plot them in map form to show you the most lucrative areas for targeting. This provides a guideline for tower, rooftop and antenna locations. Lastly, we quantify each Wireless coverage area and provide a true “served market” potential.
