Conducting a Competitive
Broadband Market Assessment
Report
Our first level of
assessment deals with the demand in your contemplated market. Whether your
target is residential consumers, business customers or a combination of both,
the proprietary database we use is the only one that combines the cyber-identity
with the terrestrial identity of your targets. This provides you a true
“served-market” profile (customers you can actually market to) as opposed to a
mere “total market” (an overstated quantification that can distort your
potential).
Our second level of
assessment covers the competitive environment for your selected area of study.
Who are the competitors? What are their product and service offerings? What are
their pricing levels? Who do they target? What are their strengths and
weaknesses? In what areas are they vulnerable? How would they rank in comparison
to others? These and many more questions are answered to provide a clear picture
of the competitive landscape.
Our third level of
assessment deals with the infrastructure and topology of your contemplated
market area. We’ll assess the area to determine the most appropriate cell sites
and tower locations to best marry with your targeted market segments to provide
the best coverage possible and thus enhance your “served-market”
capabilities.
Our philosophy of assessing your market is best depicted by the
following geographic-oriented evaluation where we determine what we call your
“Economic Target Zone” the area where all the crucial elements of success
overlay.
