Broadband Wireless Exchange's Primary Research Each month over 110,000 unique readers
visit BWE's website and click more than 7.5 million times to find information on the
broadband wireless industry. Beginning
September 1, 2002, BWE began requiring these readers to register for a username
and password in order to access BWE’s massive amount of content and resources. When readers are requested to register
for the website they are required to fill out an extensive Broadband Wireless Research
Survey. The survey consists of over
500 questions that categorize readers in to one of nine profiles ranging from
end users to wireless vendors to wireless ISPs.
Readers will not have to answer all 500 questions, just the questions
that are appropriate to the profile they select as their primary role in the
broadband wireless industry. Each
profile will record a wide variety of useful information including a user’s
title, job function, planned buying patterns for the next 12-18 months, the
types of products they plan to buy, and many other valuable data sets. (BWE
Privacy Policy) As of October 2002, more than 1,157
surveys have been completed on a voluntary basis.
By the end of the calendar year 2002, more than 5,000 profiles are
expected to be have been completed, giving BWE the most extensive primary
broadband wireless research database in the world.
This live research database will be made available to other research firms, venture
capitalists and business planners for $2,000 per research seat per month.
Users will be able to get the most up to date research possible and no
one will be able to gain access to the data without first completing a Broadband
Wireless Survey. Raw Data is currently being collected
and will be compiled by the end of November 2002. Raw Data Reports can be
purchased now for a discounted price. Formal reports will be released by
the end of the year and will cover the following segments of the Broadband
Wireless Industry: End Users If you would like to add your company's information to the Broadband Wireless database, click here.. To view the BWE Primary Research
