Red Hot Internet Completes Integration of the Azotel Simpler Subscriber Management Latform for its Metro Mesh WiFi Network

10/21/09 - Azotel announced during the Enterprise Ireland Trade Mission to Canada led by the Deputy Prime Minister of Ireland, Mary Coughlan TD, the successful integration of it's SIMPLer platform for the delivery of internet services over Red Hot Internet, a league leading metro mesh WiFi network now operating in downtown Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Today's announcement follows the highly successful integration of the Azotel SIMPLer subscriber management platform over the past year with Seaside Wireless Communications to manage their Broadband for Rural Nova Scotia Initiative - helping to make Nova Scotia one of the most connected jurisdictions in Canada and in North America.

The Azotel SIMPLer (Subscriber Information Management Platform) makes it simple for Operators to deliver services to its customers. This is achieved by bringing together all information pertaining to a customer (subscriber) under the one "portal" view. In addition the services delivered to that customer are also controlled from that same "portal" view. Consequently SIMPLer is the one platform used across all Operator departments i.e. CRM, Dispatch, Provisioning, Service Delivery, Accounts, Help Desk, NOC, Marketing and Management.

Roland McCaffrey, Project Manager of Red Hot Internet commented, "The implementation of the SIMPLer platform was customized for our exact product needs. Its ability to integrate with payment methods, customer traffic shaping, service reporting and communications allows us to monitor our system and provide the very best in customer care."

John O'Hare, CEO, Azotel commented, "We are delighted that Red Hot Internet has chosen the SIMPLer platform for the management of it's Metro Mesh WiFi deployments. The whole project has just taken a few weeks from inception to going live. The Azotel team is already widely recognized as a world class leader in the development of integrated Core Network and Operational Support Systems for delivering wireless broadband services. This project demonstrates the speed, ease and flexibility of working with Azotel."

Red Hot Internet deploys Downtown Wireless Wifi Mesh Network Internet Service. Red Hot Internet provides much needed infrastructure for residents, students, business travelers and tourists alike to stay connected. Red Hot Internet is a much needed service to help small towns and cities thrive, attracting tourists, and serving residents with reliable WiFi connectivity.

Azotel equips Operators with the technology and management services required to build out highly efficient wireless broadband and cable networks anywhere in the world. The company specializes in the development of highly automated Subscriber Management and Operational Support Systems (OSS) for use by the broadband and cable industries.
