Split Rock Resort & Golf Club Deploys Its Proximities RFID Water Park Customer Tracking Solution

3/23/09 - Split Rock Resort & Golf Club selected Bartronics America, Inc. (BAI), to provide its Proximities RFID system solution for their H20ooohh Indoor Family Waterpark.

Jack Kalins, president and CEO of Vacation Charters Ltd. the owner/operator of the Resort said: "Split Rock selected BAI because we felt they were the company that could improve our guest's overall experience and yet provide operational benefits to both our waterpark and the resort itself." The Proximities RFID system includes: patented secure RFID wristbands, hosted SmarTTender cashless payment server, RFID access control, driver license based age verification, Wireless POS, and thermal people counting.

H20ooohh is located adjoining the Galleria Suites at Split Rock Resort. This complete indoor water park features attractions for all ages, including the KOMODO DRAGON -- Pennsylvania's first Indoor Flow Rider. Daredevils will want to try the VIPER, PIRANHA and AMAZON BLAST Slides, which drop 4 stories. Those looking for refreshing relaxation will enjoy the LAVA SPRINGS hot tubs. The little ones will have a great time at JUNGLE FALLS & LEAPIN' LIZARDS play areas.

"BAI's main mission is to enhance Split Rocks guests' experience allowing them to have a unique hassle-free experience that will lead to repeat attendance," says Ron Carney, President and CEO of Bartronics America, Inc.

"After carefully reviewing all the cashless payment options on the market we determined that Bartronics America offered the best total solution that will significantly enhance our guests' experience," says Chuck Dickinson, Director of Special Projects for this Pocono Mountain Resort.

The Proximities™ solution begins by linking credit cards, debit cards, or stored value to unique and SECURE RFID wristbands. At any time, the guest can receive a complete list of his or her expenditures with a simple swipe of the wrist at any Account Management Station. When the guest leaves the venue, he or she can be confident that the patented disabling technologies will render the wristband inactive. Guests may also take advantage of other Proximities™ features such as parent/child relationships, spending limits, or default tips.
