Avaya Select Westcon to Distribute Broadband Wireless Products in Italy

12/19/08 - Avaya Italia announced a partnership agreement with Westcon Group, Inc.. The agreement provides for the non-exclusive distribution of Avaya Enterprise solutions across the Italian territory. Westcon Group, with its longstanding expertise in convergence and global solutions program infrastructure, is already Avaya's leading distributor in Europe and is well positioned to help Avaya exploit the Italian enterprise market.

As Avaya looks to extend its channel presence in Italy, it remains focused on three key areas: commitment to partner specialization, new alliance programs and a new channel oriented business strategy. These combined strategic elements are among the reasons Avaya has chosen to work with Westcon Group, a distributor acknowledged by the market for its expertise, experience and ability to deliver value to the reseller community. Weston Convergence has a focused sales team and the technical expertise required to help resellers design and deliver IP solutions that meet and exceed the requirements of end users.
