Comba Opens Distribution Center for Broadband Wireless Solutions in Russia

10/20/08 - Comba Telecom Systems Holdings Limited announced it has formally commenced operations of its office located in Moscow, Russia. The office will initially be responsible for sales and marketing to its local customer base. Together with its presence in all major regions like USA, Brazil, Sweden, India, Singapore and Thailand, Comba is expanding its business worldwide, bringing tremendous opportunities to the Group.

Offering the full range of wireless enhancement solutions and services that includes repeaters, antennas, subsystems, digital microwave systems and passive accessories, Comba's operation covers Russia and the other Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Leading the expansion is Mr. Askanaz Varajian, a veteran of the industry with over 10 years experience in the wireless telecoms space.

Mr. Fredrik Dyfverman, Comba's vice president of sales and business development, said "We are delighted to inaugurate our new office for the CIS region. Askanaz brings a wealth of experience of the local market to Comba and will be an asset to help us bring our solutions to the operators. According to the ITU, Russia has one of the fastest wireless subscriber growth rates in the world. Consequently, there will be incremental demands on mobile network capacity and coverage, and Comba's solution portfolio and price/performance efficiency will be helping operators address these demands."

Being one of the leading wireless enhancement solution providers in the world, Comba is primarily engaged in the R&D and manufacturing of wireless enhancement products including repeaters, base station subsystems & antennas, and digital microwave systems. The Group also provides complete turnkey solutions and services to its global customers. Headquartered in Hong Kong, Comba's global operations include manufacturing platform in China, R&D centers in China and the US, with over 35 offices worldwide.
