EJL Wireless Research Adds the XOHM ZyXEL WiMAX CPE to Its DesigN Analysis Infrastructure (DNA-I) Report

10/20/08 - EJL Wireless Research is announcing a new report within its proprietary DNA-I research series, the XOHM ZyXEL WiMAX customer premise equipment (CPE) unit.

"With the recent official launch of the XOHM Network by Sprint in Baltimore, the next generation of broadband wireless technology is now available to consumers in the United States," says founder and President, Earl Lum.

"We are excited to have the opportunity to showcase the first mobile WiMAX 802.16e CPE product in the U.S. While we are disappointed that this first product from XOHM does not have integrated WiFi capabilities, we expect that more advanced CPEs and WiMAX femotcells to become available in 2009," says Lum.

Component and semiconductor suppliers mentioned in this report include: Diodes Inc., Freescale Semiconductor, Infineon Technologies, Macronix International, Maxim Integrated Products, Monolithic Power Systems, national Semiconductor, NXP Semiconductors, ON Semiconductor, PMC Sierra, Samsung Electronics, SANYO Electric Co., Ltd., Sequans Communications, Silicon Labs, Texas Instruments, TXC Corporation, Winbond Electronics Corp.

Other wireless infrastructure equipment products such as femtocells, power amplifiers, transceivers, remote radio heads and base stations are also available as part of the DNA-I research program.

Keywords: winbond electronics corp, customer premise equipment, maxim integrated products co co ltd, sequans communications, monolithic power systems, freescale semiconductor, macronix international, pmc sierra, power amplifiers, president earl, Amplifiers
