Redline's Customer Rapid Link Selected as Finalist for Best of WiMAX World 2008 Awards 9/19/08 - Redline Communications Group Inc.
(TSX and AIM: RDL) announced that its customer, Rapid Link
Incorporated, (OTCBB: RPID) a leading provider of WiMAX and communication
services in Atlanta, Georgia has been selected by a trade magazine as a
finalist for the Best of WiMAX World 2008 Award in the Service Provider
category and the Best of WiMAX World 2008 Industry Choice Award.
Rapid Link was selected for the roll out of its 3.65 GHz city-wide WiMAX
network in Atlanta, using Redline's WiMAX Forum Certified RedMAX
products.
"We are honored to be included as a finalist and would like to thank Redline for nominating Rapid Link," said Matt Liotta, Chief Technology Officer of Rapid Link." "Redline's RedMAX products have enabled us to expand our services dramatically, increasing our installation efficiency and helping us achieve industry leading bandwidth and long range connections." Rapid Link is one of three finalists for the Service Provider Award and one of 15 finalists for the Industry Choice Award. The awards will be presented on October 1st at a ceremony following the close of the WiMAX World exhibition floor.
