| AGOURA HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
THQ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI) today announced that Drawn to Life ™ :
SpongeBob SquarePants Edition has shipped to retailers worldwide.
The game follows the release of last year ’ s Drawn
to Life, the first video game that allowed players to draw and play
as their own characters. Drawn to Life: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition
combines elements from the original Drawn to Life title with
the world of SpongeBob SquarePants, and is now available exclusively for
Nintendo DS ™ .
Drawn to Life: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition allows SpongeBob
fans to celebrate their creativity by drawing themselves into their very
own video game. Using the unique drawing mechanic from the original Drawn
to Life, players will draw the hero, power ups, costumes, and even
their own Bikini Bottom home to interact with SpongeBob SquarePants ’
underwater universe like never before. With more than 20 levels to
explore and countless numbers of items to draw, players can literally
leave their personal mark on Bikini Bottom. Gamers will be challenged to
battle, erase and then re-draw their enemies as they move through the
game. A two-player vs. mode will allow players to compete against each
other, while built-in drawing lessons will help kids increase their
artistic abilities by learning to draw SpongeBob. The special Coloring
Book section of the game will also allow kids to color their favorite
