North Carolina Wireless ISP Adds WiMAX to Broadband Wireless Portfolio

7/25/08 - Dialpoint Communications Corporation (OTCBB: DLPC), an integrated communications provider of voice, data, and Internet services and business telephone systems, announces the addition of WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) wireless service to its product portfolio.

Dialpoint plans to utilize WiMAX technology to both enhance its current delivery methods as well as serve as a last mile solution to deliver its products and services to the end customer in a timelier manner. Once deployed, delivery times are expected to take between three to five days as compared to the current thirty to forty-five days. WiMAX technology has been successfully utilized by a number of large communications providers and has proven itself to be a viable alternative to traditional T1 delivered connectivity.

The initial deployment of the system is set to begin in the Charlotte, North Carolina metropolitan area in September 2008.
