C-COM Antennas Delivered to the State of Missouri

5/13/08 - C-COM Satellite Systems Inc. (TSX VENTURE:CMI) the leading global provider of mobile auto-deploying satellite antenna systems announced that a number of its iNetVu Mobile antenna system have been deployed by the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT).

The iNetVu mobile antenna systems were sold to MoDOT by Orbital Data Net (ODN) a Columbia, MO based satellite systems integrator and a C-COM value added reseller.

"We are very pleased to be able to add the State of Missouri to our long list of world wide emergency management system users. The ODN supplied solution will provide the MoDOT with a reliable satellite based emergency response communication system capable of delivering Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and Radio over Internet Protocol (RoIP) services as well as interoperability between various emergency management groups" said Leslie Klein, President and CEO of C-COM Satellite Systems Inc.

ODN CEO Greg Heifner added, "The advanced emergency communications network solutions we have developed provide numerous benefits to Missouri Agencies, including an easy to deploy, versatile, and transportable solution using the C-COM iNetVu technology. These mobile solutions are critical for public safety measures, providing a high reliability communications system in the case of a crisis or disaster. Dependability is a given when attempting to restore communications after a disaster and the iNetVu systems have made this possible".
