"ZTE secured 34% of total contract awards during the March 31, 2008 ended quarter. Chinese OEMs captured 40% of overall contracts while each major base station vendor secured at least one win during the quarter. Nokia Siemens Networks won the only billion dollar contract during the quarter," says founder and President, Earl Lum.

"Demand also shifted back to Asia Pacific during the quarter while surprisingly, CDMA2000 accounted for 45% of total contract awards as the Chinese OEMs captured 81% of global CDMA contracts," says Lum.
