PARIS, September 25 /PRNewswire/ -- OneAccess, European leader of enterprise access routers and professional multiplay IP devices, today announced the execution of a Master Distributor agreement with Promptus Communications based in Sydney Australia, a leading value-added distributor specializing in IP telephony and converged access solutions in Australia and New Zealand.

Under the agreement, Promptus will market and distribute OneAccess's full line of business-class routers based on OneOS software for data, voice and multi-service applications, in Australia and New Zealand. The integrated access device (IAD) product line features VOIP functionalities providing best-in-class interface combinations to connect phones, faxes, PABX, and LAN workstations and is ideally suited for telecom operators and service providers wanting to deliver bundled voice and data services to small- and medium-sized businesses. The IP router product line offers scalable and configurable, secure, high-speed Internet/IP-VPN connections for small and medium businesses. OneAccess and Promptus will jointly engage in market development and demand creation in Australia and New Zealand, which will be serviced and supported regionally by Promptus.

According to the firm's report, the Asia Pacific region was estimated to have 45 Million DSL lines in service in 2004, going to over 93 Million subscriber lines in service by 2008, growing over 105% in the next 3-year period.
