The ReefEdge Connect System provides systems integrators with the ability to deliver comprehensive security, mobility, manageability, and scalability without a major investment in hardware, network reconfiguration, or software development. As a Layer 3 solution, the ReefEdge Connect System is interoperable with all standard compliant networking equipment and wireless standards such as 802.11a, 802.11b and Bluetooth and allows for subnet roaming.
The ReefEdge Connect System consists of the ReefEdge Connect Server, which allows for centralized management of the wireless LAN, and ReefEdge Connect Bridges which act as "micro firewalls" at the edge of the network, implementing the System's security, mobility, and user group privileges.
