Mimix Broadband Announces ISO 9001 Certification 
Certification of Internationally-recognized Quality Management
 System Supports Mimix Broadband's Focus

    November 8, 2001, Houston, Texas - Mimix Broadband, a leading developer of gallium arsenide (GaAs) monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs), announced today that the Company has been registered to ISO 9001, the internationally-recognized quality management system standard administered by the International Organization for Standardization. Det Norske Veritas Certification, Inc. (DNV) awarded Mimix with its certification to ISO 9001, which consists of stringent specifications that outline practices to ensure design control, maintenance of product and service quality, and continuous quality improvement. ISO 9001 registration, a primary goal of Mimix Broadband, reinforces the Company's focus on quality management.

    To earn ISO 9001 certification, a company must successfully complete a comprehensive audit of the quality system, which encompasses documented procedures and operations from every department. Furthermore, the Company must continue to maintain and improve its quality system as verified by semi-annual audits.
