Service Providers Plan to Spend $1.1 Billion on New online research
database will be available for vendors, researchers,
Gilbert, AZ, October 22, 2002
- BWE Research Services, the research arm of Broadband Wireless Exchange,
Inc., today announced the
availability of a new research report on the Broadband Wireless industry
entitled the "Broadband
Wireless 2003 Forecast."
The Broadband Wireless Forecast Surveyed over 1,100 End Users, Entrepreneurs,
Industry Influencers, Investors, Traditional Service Providers, Vendors,
Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISPs) and others in order to amass the
most comprehensive database of information available on planned budgets and
purchases for broadband wireless products and services over the next 12-18
months. "The Broadband
Wireless industry continues to grow at a rapid rate," said Robert Hoskins,
Broadband Wireless Exchange, Inc.’s President and CEO.
"While many companies in our industry are still in startup or early
build out stages of their network deployment, the latest research shows that
entrepreneurs, existing service providers and investors have big plans for
utilizing broadband wireless technology in 2003." In addition to
planned budgets and services, the 500-question survey collected detailed
information on which spectrum category operators plan to utilize, the size of
the network they plan to build, what types of antennas and radios they plan to
buy, and the types of consulting services they will be seeking in order to build
out their broadband wireless networks. The report also
provides other valuable information for business planners, researchers and
investors that are trying to make strategic decisions for entering or making
investments in the broadband wireless sector.
For example, respondents answered questions related to planned subscriber
counts, the locations planned for new networks, how many cells were planned to
be added, how operators plan to fund their networks and the broadband
competition, if any, operators would be facing in their towns and cities.
The report even details the speeds of the services planned, complete with
pricing information. Companies and
individuals can add their research profiles to the Broadband Wireless database
at www.bbwexchange.com/register/register.asp?hdnRegisterCode=2
Availability/Pricing The Broadband
Wireless 2003 Forecast will be available November 1, 2002 and the full
report can be purchased for $3,995. The Broadband
Wireless 2003 Forecast is based on a database of information that is updated
on a daily basis. Research firms,
investors, vendors and other interested parties can buy access to the database,
which includes qualified leads from individuals and businesses that are planning
to build broadband wireless networks in the next 12 months, for $2,000 per month
per research seat. Researchers will
be able to log on to the BWE database with a username and password and obtain
real-time statistics. About the
