 Management Solutions from Internet Telephony Magazine

Cisco-Based ProVision 2.1 Network Management System Offers Open Architecture 
Allowing for Integration into Higher-Level Management Systems

    SAN JOSE, Calif., January 7, 2001 – DMC Stratex Networks (NASDAQ: STXN), one of the world's foremost solutions providers for broadband wireless access and cellular backhaul, today announced that its ProVision™ 2.1 Network Management System has earned Internet Telephony® Magazine's 2001 Product of the Year Award in the category of "Performance Monitoring/Network Management/Quality of Service."

    ProVision 2.1 is a standards-based solution for managing wireless products from Stratex Networks and SNMP-based products from other vendors that make up the network. It offers an open architecture for easy integration to higher-level management systems, while providing detailed management of Stratex Networks' products.
