Names VP of Worldwide Sales;
Feb. 11, 2002--Fortress Technologies, a leading global provider of wireless
and wireline network security solutions, has named Willard E. Thomas senior vice
president of worldwide sales. The appointment of this former RSA sales executive
underscores Fortress' commitment to aggressively rollout its new AirFortress(TM)
Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) security system.

Mr. Thomas has
solid experience in sales and sales management for network security, software
and communications companies including RSA Security, COMPUWARE, Novell and IBM.
In his most recent position, he was director of North American sales for RSA, a
leading internet/network security firm, responsible for developer sales in the

branded product sales through a network of channel partners as well as a
technology licensing model focused on OEM or private label relationships.
