Announces Purchase Order For 5,000 Super Hoppers

    World Wireless Communications (Amex: XWC), today announced that it has received a purchase order from American Control Technologies, Ltd. for 5,000 of its new Super Hopper Spread Spectrum Radios. The release of the order is subject to final FCC approval expected at the end of January 2003; the purchase order is valued at over $500,000.

    "The new Super Hopper was developed for use with our X-traWeb under-the- glass AMR application. However, it soon became apparent to us that given the improved signal quality, distance, transfer rate and lower cost, the Super Hopper would be a perfect addition to our OEM radio product line."
