Sierra Wireless AirCard(R) Products are OPSEC Certified
Providing Secure, High-Speed Wireless Access to Mobile Users

Sierra Wireless announced today that it has joined forces with Check Point Software Technologies Ltd., the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, to deliver secure wireless data solutions to the enterprise market. Further, the two companies have aligned with T-Mobile USA, Inc. (NYSE:DT) to offer a mobile solution using Check Point's market-leading VPN-1(R)/FireWall-1(R) and the Sierra Wireless AirCard(R) 750 which runs on T-Mobile's GSM/GPRS network. The solution ensures customers have easy and secure wireless access to information from their laptop or PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) when they travel or work away from the office. Check Point Software, Sierra Wireless, and T-Mobile solutions are available through Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE:IM), the largest global provider of technology products and supply chain management services.

Designed for enterprise customers, mobile users can now use Check Point's Next Generation(TM) suite of industry-leading virtual private networking (VPN), firewall and security management solutions combined with Sierra Wireless's award winning AirCard(R) products that operate over wireless wide area networks. Together, Sierra Wireless and Check Point will provide customers with an easy to deploy VPN/Security Mobile data solution that is certified for seamless interoperability with Check Point's Open Platform for Security (OPSEC(TM))(a).

"Secure access to data is a critical requirement for enterprises with mobile employees," said Upesh Patel, Group Manager, OPSEC Alliance for Check Point Software Technologies. "Check Point Next Generation customers are now assured that VPN-1(R) SecureClient(TM) seamlessly interoperates with the Sierra Wireless AirCard products to provide a secure mobile office solution for use over wireless wide area cellular networks."

    Complete and Secure Mobile Solution
Sierra Wireless and Check Point will offer a set of complete communication solutions with T-Mobile USA. The offering combines leading edge wireless data products with the convenience and reliability of a ubiquitous high-speed data network including: Check Point VPN-1 SecureClient, and VPN-1/FireWall-1 software; the Sierra Wireless AirCard 750 PC Card, offering both voice and data functionality when used with a laptop or PDA; and wireless connectivity through T-Mobile's GSM/GPRS global wireless voice and high-speed data network. This offering will enable Check Point USA based resellers to immediately offer a complete wireless solution to new and existing customers.
