Becoming a Member of the BWA entitles member companies
to some unique and cost effective services designed to help smaller companies in the
broadband wireless industry promote their company to the broadband wireless industry and abroad. We have put together a marketing package that is designed
to create maximum exposure for minimum marketing dollars. The package consists of basic public
relations and advertising opportunities, plus many other added services
that will help a broadband wireless business build a successful customer
acquisition strategy. Unlike many publications, Broadband Wireless Exchange's
sole mission is to promote the industry we serve. One of our roles involves pitching the broadband
wireless industry to other technical trade publications, business magazines and local and
national daily newspapers. As a result, we talk to many editors and reporters from
other publications that are interested in speaking with the actual vendors and service
providers. When approached with opportunities, we will refer these leads to the most
appropriate members of the BWA. Smaller companies sometimes lack the staff or funds to
retain a full time marketing staff or a public relations firm. The
BWA maintains a staff of marketing
professionals that already understand the technology and the benefits of broadband wireless.
BWA members
can tap this group of experts at significantly lower costs than hiring a full time
staff or having to sign expensive agency contracts. Our goal is to assist companies that need help building
a press kit, writing press releases, building a database of reporters and analysts that cover broadband wireless,
writing an advertising media plan, designing advertising and marketing literature,
creating web banners and/or even web site design.
